Tomhicken Falls Nature Area

A trail for advanced hikers leading to Eagle Rock’s Tomhicken Falls

About The Falls

The village of Nuremberg lies just to the northwest of Eagle Rock, on the southern slope of South Buck Mountain, and drains into Tomhicken Creek. Tomhicken Creek is a tributary of Catawissa Creek, which joins the North Branch of the Susquehanna River at the Borough of Catawissa.

The change in elevation as the mountain enters the valley afforded the opportunity for the natural creation of Tomhicken Falls.

This nature trail is a rough trail. Hiking clothes and proper shoes are recommended.
